The Mini FOE conference held in Douala on Saturday 11th July 2015 at Hotel Prince de Galles, Akwa under the theme “The Woman God Uses”.

This maiden edition brought together Wives of Founders as well as Female Founders of ministries from at least 4 out of the 10 regions of Cameroon: Littoral, Southwest, Northwest, and Central Regions. We were also very blessed with the arrival of two special guests Mummy Odunsi and Mummy Achonwa from Nigeria.

They both arrived in Douala, Cameroon, on July 10, 2015, in the evening and were lodge in the same venue where the event took
place. This enabled Mummy Odunsi to visit the hall and be reassured
as she was anxious to see the venue upon arrival.

The event started by 9 am as planned and in spite of the heavy rains that came pouring down like showers of blessing, all invitees thronged-in in their numbers.

In her welcome address to the over 100 guests from various denominations, Pastor (Mrs.) Esther Odeyemi recalled the purpose and vision of the FOE as well as God’s assignment to the end-time women which we are. She made allusion to women in the Bible like Deborah, Esther, Dorcas just to mention a few who should be our role models if we must make a positive impact in our families, ministries, communities, and the nation.

The Mini Feast had two plenary sessions and a workshop run by Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi (SATGO) and two guest ministers from Living Word Fellowship Cameroon and the Apostolic Church respectively. The choir led in songs that ushered in these speakers to the stage as they ministered under with anointing from on high.
This was a time of refreshing.

The mini-conference was also an avenue for women to pray for families, the church, and the nation. These slots were run by our guest ministers from other ministries.

The mini-feast ended at about 4:30 pm after which a brief evaluation meeting with the National Coordinator of FOE in Nigeria Mummy Odunsi, Mummy Achonwa, Mummy Odeyemi, and the Organizing Committee of the FOE in Cameroon. Mummy Odunsi commended the work done by the Organizing Committee and expressed her profound satisfaction for a very successful event which she said was so

“… colorful, enriching and well organized for a first-time event”.

As the team anxiously wait for the coming of Mummy Folu Adeboye, she promised to take the good news of what she saw in Cameroon back to her.
